Nilufar

Nilufar is one of Italy’s most active galleries in the fields of historical and contemporary design, and in the field of antique Oriental carpets and furniture. The gallery, now housed in a three-story space on Milan’s prestigious via della Spiga, was founded by Nina Yashar in 1979 and since then has presented exhibitions of an unmistakable style: always eclectic, and always to be read in novel, unexpected ways. Nilufar pursues the development of contemporary artists-designers working for the gallery, while discovering the new “seeds” of international design, new artists making their debut in Italy.
